Our philanthropy, Building Strong Girls, focuses on providing experiences that help build and spread awareness of girls' spiritual, mental and social health. We do this by working with Girls On The Run. Girls On The Run is an organization that aims to empower pre-teen girls by training for a 5k while also learning important developmental lessons. Our members have the opportunity to volunteer to coach Girls On The Run classes in the local Athens community. We believe that our efforts in building strong girls provides lifelong success and inspiration for future female leaders.

Moonball
Our spring philanthropy event held each year is moonball. Moonball is a volleyball tournament made up of students hosted on our front lawn. Teams and their coaches fight through a double elimination tournament for a cash prize, event banner, and bragging rights. With a concession stand and this years live stream of the Masters, its a fun afternoon for competitors and spectators! All of our proceeds go to our local Athens-Clarke County Chapter of Girls On The Run.

Grilled Cheese with the G-Phi-B's

Our fall philanthropy event is Grilled Cheese with the G-Phi-B's. For only $5 anyone who stops by the house can get all you can eat grilled cheese made by the Gamma Phi Beta house chef, Evan (Chevan)! This year you had the option to enter our cornhole tournament for an additional $2! Winners who placed received prizes including gift cards, UGA football tickets and Atlanta Falcons tickets. The night consists of hanging out with the community and serving hundreds of hungry people, all while promoting our philanthropic focus of Building Strong Girls.
